BENVENUTI al mio Blog!!!!

Sono Rosarita da Venezia, una delle poche artiste Italiane di orsi. Nei vari progressi fatti nel tempo ho sempre ambito a trasferire il famoso stile e design italiano ammirato in tutto il mondo nei miei bears. Come potete vedere dalle foto, i miei orsi sono curati meticolosamente in ogni particolare, cosicché il risultato sia sempre non solo un orso unico ma con la sua particolare e irripetibile personalità. Ho lavorato duramente per trovare il mio stile nel quale riversare tutte le mie capacità e amore per questo lavoro. Traggo ispirazione da ogni cosa che vedo nella mia bella città natale, passeggiare per le calli, lungo i canali , circondate da splendidi palazzi antichi ricchi di fascino, storia e leggende...facile immaginare il tempo passato e trarne idee per la creazione dei miei teddy bears che hanno l’aspetto dei teddy bears di una volta. L’espressione del muso è la cosa più importante in un teddy, così prima faccio un disegno di come desidero possa essere il risultato finale. Uso materiali e tecniche del passato e riempio con paglia o alri materiali i miei bears. Faccio sempre pezzi unici, solo una volta ne ho fatto 20 in edizione limitata per il giornale Teddy Bear Times.Vado a mercatini d’antiquariato cercando nastri e pizzi vecchi, bigiotteria di una volta, oggetti con i quali completare l'aspetto dei miei bears, tutto ciò che ritengo possa rendere ancora più speciali e accurati i miei teddy bears. A volte invecchio il materiale prima di fare l’orso, sia il mohair che l'antico lino che compro in Francia. I loro maglioncini e vestiti, sono lavorati a mano, amo curare ogni piccolo particolare dal fiorellino ricamato, al bottoncino speciale.Quando ho iniziato a pensare a un nome per la mia iniziativa, molte idee mi sono venute alla mente. Alla fine ho scelto"Marin" è il cognome di mia madre una figura molto amata, che con infinita pazienza mi ha insegnato fin da quando ero bambina, l'amore per le cose che nascono dalle proprie mani.

My name is Rosarita and I live in Venice, I'm one of the very few Italian bear artists.
In my progresses while making teddy bears, I always aimed to transfer the famous Italian design and style, which is admired all around the world
As you can see in the photos I'm sending you herewith, my teds are checked in every little particular, so that the result is not only of a unique ted but also with its own unrepeatable personality.
To find my own style was a long and hard work, where it does flow all my ambition and love.
The inspirations comes from every little thing of my beautiful town, walking around in our little streets called "calli", along the canals, all surrounded by wonderful antique palaces reach of charm history and legends.. it is easy to imagine the past time, and have new ideas about my ted's creation, which does look just like the teddy bears of long time ago.
The expression of the muzzle is the most important part on a teddy, so I do first make a drawing of how I wish it to come.
I use the same materials and techniques which were used in the past, so I fill them with woodwool or other traditional fillings. I always make unique teddies, only once I made 20 of the same kind as a limited edition for the magazine "Teddy Bear Times". Little antique markets can see me rooming around searching for old ribbons, antique laces, old bijouterie, any little charming object to complete the personality of my bears, anything that I belive can make them even more special and accurated.
Some time I age the mohair and also the antique linen (which I buy in France) before to make them.
Their cardigan and clothes are all made by hand with little embroidery, I love taking care of every little particular, from a little flower hand embroided to a pretty button.
When I tought for a name for this initiative of mine, I had many ideas. At the end I did chose "Marin" ad it is the surname of my mother, whom I loved deeply. Since I was very small she tought me, with endless patience, the love of any little work which comes from your own hands.
